Standing strong in times of change
In times of change, St. Stephen’s Community House is ready to be a place of safety, support and opportunity for the community. We are so grateful for the incredible passion and dedication of our peer leaders, volunteers, Board Members, staff and donors who make it all happen. Thank you all being change-makers for a strong and just community.
Although we have new stories to tell this year, we also continue to build on our previous successes:
Our overdose prevention services remains open today with generous donor support and we have increased our hours in the face of this deadly crisis.
The impact of our youth justice diversion programming such as GameChangers continues to increase at our new office at Keele & Finch.
Our support for emerging resident-led groups continues to grow with our Trusteeship Hub supporting over two dozen grassroots groups receiving grants from City of Toronto, United Way, Ontario Trillium Foundation and provide donors.
We are not standing still and hope you will join us in our mission! Please enjoy our 2018-2019 Annual Report and the inspiring stories of Farrah, Rui, Naomi and Paul, Lu Lu, Ron, Celine and more. They are our neighbours and these are a handful of the 26,000 stories that are told every year at St. Stephen’s.
