It was our pleasure to celebrate CRT’s 30th Anniversary yesterday at the Old City Hall Courts.

Premier Wynne provided the keynote address, giving a stirring speech about her time here and how it helped prepare her for the world of politics: “42% of a manager’s time is spent resolving conflict. 100% of the Premier’s time is spent doing the same. Everything I needed to know for politics, I learned at St. Stephen’s.”

You can read the full text of Premier Wynne's speech here.

Councillor Pasternak spoke on behalf of Mayor John Tory and the city of Toronto, emphasizing the need for conflict resolution across the city.

And, we were proud to present the first Ruth Morris Award for "Lifetime Contribution to Community Mediation” posthumously to Eudora Pendergrast. Accepting on her behalf was her husband, John.

You can see more photos of the party here.

Thanks to everyone who helped us celebrate this milestone!
