At St. Stephen's, we have been helping newcomers to Canada for more than 40 years. Our knowledgeable and encouraging Language Training and Newcomers Services staff can help you improve your English, get support from counsellors and peers, and enjoy great cultural and recreational events.
We understand the needs of newcomers and are ready to help you successfully settle into your new life. We offer English language classes, information and referral services, newcomer support groups and help getting a job.

Individual support with your immediate concerns in the new country

Access and referral to employment, health and education resources

Our counsellors speak English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, Farsi, Dari and Pashto
St. Stephen’s also offers settlement services and wellness and nutrition support for pregnant and new mothers. In December 2014, we produced a new Fotonovela with COSTI Immigration Services as part of the Province of Ontario's initiative to prevent violence against women.
