Practicum, Internship and Placement

All our practica, internships and placements must be a required component of a program connected with an educational institution. At Conflict Resolution & Training, we are particularly interested in students from Dispute Resolution, Peace and Conflict studies, Criminology, Paralegal or Legal Assistant, Social Work, Social Service Worker or Community Worker programs. Generally, we seek interns to staff our Case Management positions (see below), but from time to time we do have other project or outreach related opportunities

Case Management Intern

The case management intern works closely with the Community Mediation Coordinator to provide exemplary service to the public, processing intake calls, managing cases, providing mediation on selected cases, assisting in the development and facilitation of training and providing outreach. Preference is given to those who require a full school year internship, and run 14 - 21 hours per week depending on the requirements of the program. Summer internships are also available.

Current Vacancies

At this time, we manage two Case Management Internships, one in downtown Toronto and one in North York. You may inquire about other opportunities at the time of application to Conftlict Resolution & Training specifically. After submitting your application, we will hold it for one year. As positions become available within that time, we will review your application along with others being held.
