Reopening ChildCare Centres during COVID-19
The Ontario government announced its plan to reopen child care centres. Staff are preparing for reopening. When our child care sites have met all the stringent guidelines, they will be permitted to open to families / children.
The safety of our children and staff are our priority. We are aiming to open our sites on July 2, 2020 but, before we can officially open, an inspection by Public Health and an approval from the Ministry of Education must take place.
Located in the new Canoe Landing Community Recreation Centre, the Canoe Landing Child Care Centre serves children from birth to twelve years. We have age-appropriate programming with qualified staff and a well-equipped playground.
All Full Day Kindergarten (FDK) and School-age children in before and after care must attend either Jean Lumb Public School or Bishop Macdonell Catholic Elementary School.
Ages: birth to 12 years
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM.
City of Toronto fee subsidies help families in financial need with the cost of licensed child care programs. Click here for the City of Toronto Child Care Fee Subsidy Application.

If no spaces are available, your child will be placed on a waiting list. We will contact you when a space becomes available.
All registration will be placed on a first come first serve basis. The time stamp on your registration form both on line and in person determines your spot on the registration/wait list.
